Ethos Health would like to congratulate the whole team at NCIG for achieving enviable health improvements. NCIG has offered regular health programs since
2010 in the belief that a healthy and happy workforce is safer and more productive. The commitment and the engagement by the workforce is a demonstration
that this is highly valued with no less than 90% of employees participating in the program.

The results from the biannual health screening have seen a progressive nine percent improvement (68/100 in 2011 to 77/100 in 2015) in the overall aggregated
Health Score. The Health Score tangibly measures the factors that determine health (Smoking, Nutrition, Alcohol,
Physical Activity, Function & Pain, Stress, Obesity, Tiredness). This year
the program focused on nutrition and improving body composition as these were the priorities identified in their biannual health screening program.
NCIG rolled out the Ethos Health Corporate Lunchbox Workshop in conjunction with their annual weight loss challenge.
The Corporate Lunchbox Workshop provides each staff member with an insulated lunchbox bursting with healthy food options to fuel them through a working
day, an education and Q&A session, and a simple guide to creating a lunchbox to optimize energy. The food and drink we consume at work accounts
for roughly half of our total energy and nutrient intake for the day. Busy schedules, reliance on convenience options and poor food choices can lead
to an energy dense but nutrient poor intake. Packing a lunchbox can make a big difference to the health of your workforce. Further, the lunchbox has
to be taken home and explained to the family so it would be nice to think that this initiative has benefits beyond the workplace!
