Dr. Trent Watson

CEO, Fatigue Consultant, Dietitian

Trent is CEO of Ethos Health, and an Accredited Dietitian. Trent also specialises in Fatigue Management and using the latest in technology works with workplaces to put in place strategies to manage, and reduce the risk of fatigue incident and accident in Australia.

Trent also consults from our Lake Macquarie Practice, is a media spokesperson with the Dietitians Association of Australia and Chairman of the Hunter Medicare Local.

Matt Cooper - Workplace Health & Safety Consultant

Matt Cooper

Health & Safety Consultant 

Combining a BSc Degree in Sport Performance and Postgraduate Certificate in Organisational Safety and Human Factors provides Matt with a unique background in how human factors influence all aspects to workplace performance and safety.

Matt’s knowledge also extends to the physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, sociology and psychology areas of performance. As a Trainer and Assessor Matt joined the Ethos Health team 5 years ago, and his ever-widening content knowledge and engaging delivery style has seen him maintain a net approval score greater than eight for his delivery across fatigue and injury prevention programs.

Dr Jane Watson - Newcastle Dietitian

Dr. Jane Watson

Workplace Health Researcher 

Jane's niche experience is in infant and child nutrition, she is passionate about working with families to promote healthy eating habits. She continues to work in nutrition research at the University of Newcastle and has undertaken additional study in child nutrition as well as being an accredited practitioner for the Triple P parenting program.

James Morris - Workplace Health Consultant

James Morris

Workplace Health Consultant 

James is an experienced dietitian having worked in a number of medical centres and private practices across NSW. Having moved to Newcastle his clinical focus is general dietetics, including weight management, heart disease, diabetes, food allergies and intolerances, and sports nutrition. James also works as a consultant to a number of local organisations, helping run a range of health and wellbeing programs.

Dan Lovegrove - Newcastle Physiotherapist

Dan Lovegrove

Industrial Physiotherapist 

Dan is a University of Newcastle graduate with several years private practice experience. His physio interests are wide-ranging with specialised knowledge around cycling and soccer.

Dan works with local soccer clubs in the NPL and New FM league and often covers teams for Northern NSW at nationals’ tournaments.

Benn West - Newcastle Exercise Physiologist

Benn West

Exercise Physiologist / Trainer 

Benn has more than 10 years’ experience as an Exercise Physiologist. Benn is able to provide support for clients with conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, cancer, arthritis, pulmonary disease, musculoskeletal injuries and more.

Karent Barnett - Newcastle Physiotherapist

Karen Barnett

Physiotherapist / Trainer 

Karen is an experienced musculo-skeletal physiotherapist who has been working at Ethos Health since the inception in 2009. Karen is currently delivering our Health Screening Services  and also enjoys going onsite providing training and implementation of occupational health initiatives and education around injury prevention.

Nick Davies - Workplace Physiotherapist

Nick Davies

Industrial Physiotherapist 

Nick is a Newcastle University graduate, who worked in various private practice and hospital settings in Australia and the UK prior to joining Ethos Health in 2018., Nick has a special interest in the treatment and prevention of work-related injuries and provides consulting services to a range of organisations while working in various on-site clinics throughout the Hunter.

Connor Eyers - Newcastle Physiotherapist

Connor Eyers

Industrial Physiotherapist 

Connor graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2014 and has been working with Ethos Health ever since. He has works across both Clinic and as an Onsite Physio for a number of our corporate clients. Connor also works with a number of local and representative sports teams and enjoys treating all types of injuries and painful conditions, especially the shoulder.
