Our Physio's are 4-year university trained health professionals who treat muscle, joint and soft tissue related pain. Physios work across many healthcare sectors, but at Ethos Health we typically see people of all ages to treat injuries sustained through sport, work, home activities, or pain of gradual onset.
Our Newcastle Physiotherapists are registered with all major private health insurers, Medicare, WorkCover NSW and The Department of Veterans Affairs.

Dave Naylor
BAppSc (Physio), BSc (HM)
David Naylor is a physiotherapist with more than 15 years of sports experience. He has a special interest in the biomechanics of injury and rehabilitation, rugby union injuries, shoulder and lower limb injury management.

Connor Eyers
BPhty(Hons)
Connor graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2014 and has been working with Ethos Health ever since. He has worked with a number of local and representative sports teams and enjoys treating all types of injuries and painful conditions, especially the shoulder.

Chris Morton
MPhtySt, BSc(Hons)
Operations Manager
Chris Morton is a Physiotherapist with 15 years experience. In addition to his clinical load, Chris oversees the general running and operation of the business as well as managing significant research and product development projects. Chris is a regular lecturer in the University of Newcastle’s Physiotherapy program and a media spoke person for interviews with private health funds, print media, radio and more

Kate Beatty
BPhty(Hons)
Kate has a first-class honours degree from the University of Newcastle. Kate enjoys treating a wide range of injuries and has a particular interest in the neck and lower back; including headache and migraine treatment.
Kate is also a Credentialed McKenzie Physiotherapist

Tim Schneider
MPhysio, BAppSc.(Physio)
Tim has more than 15 years experience in sports physiotherapy and has developed a special interest in lumbopelvic and lower limb mechanics. He has worked with a range of sporting teams from amateur to elite including at national, Olympic and Paralympic level.

Nic Gentizon
BPhty (Hons)
Nic is an accredited physiotherapist, graduating from the University of Newcastle in 2021. Throughout Nic’s studies he worked alongside physios from several sporting teams across Newcastle. Nic has a special interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy coming from his desire to see people return to sport/work and succeed. Nic will divide his time working in our Newcastle practice and Cooks Hill Football Club.

Nick Hewitt
BPhty (Hons)
Nick worked alongside Ethos Health physios throughout his studies at the University of Newcastle, and has now been with us in the clinic for a few years. Nick has a passion for sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and divides his time between our Newcastle practice and Wanderers Rugby Club.

Nick Mullen
BPhty (Hons)
Nick is an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a passion for learning. In addition to his undergraduate degree he has almost completed his Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, and is partway through a PhD via the University of Newcastle. If you want a physio who is up to date on all the latest research, and knows how to put that into practice, Nick is a great person to see.

We can help you treat hip and knee osteoarthritis, ligament tears, patellofemoral pain, ankle sprains, plantar fasciitis, muscle strains and much more, plus carry a full range of knee and ankle braces, cam boots and crutches for sale.
4) Sports Physiotherapy:
Our professional and experienced sports physio's can help you recover from acute and chronic sports injuries to get back on the field and perform at your best. Ethos Health partner with a variety of Newcastle sports teams in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie area.
5) Pre and post-operative Care:
We work closely with many local specialists to help patients prepare and successfully recover from total hip or knee replacement, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, Achilles tendon repair, rotator cuff repair, fracture fixation and more.
6) Fracture Management:
There’s no need to stay out of the pool! We apply casts with a waterproof liner and can remove or repair all casts as needed. There’s also a full range of braces, slings, moon boots and crutches for knee, ankle and foot fractures with next day delivery on special orders.
