Sports Physiotherapy

Ethos Health provides sports physiotherapy services across the Newcastle and Hunter region, including game day coverage and sports physiotherapy consultations in our clinics. Our highly experienced sports physios have worked with local to international level athletes and teams and have excellent relationships with local imaging facilities and medical specialists, giving you rapid access to expert assistance when you need it most.

Who we work with

Ethos Health is proud to support many local sporting organisations from amateur to semi-professional, and we’d love for your club to join our team. You’ll get guaranteed access to our Monday Recovery Clinic (with no out of pocket cost), discounts on consultations and sports medicine supplies, and much more. We can supply sports physiotherapists and sports trainers for match days and special events, and help you ensure you are looking after your most valuable asset – the health and safety of your registered players and spectators.

Recovery Clinic

As part of our sports physio Recovery Clinic we’re pleased to offer acute injury assessments to players from all grades of any sponsored club every Monday, with zero out of pocket cost. Get assessed by an expert physiotherapist at our Newcastle physiotherapy clinic and get back on the field sooner!

Ethos Health has provided sports physio coverage for many years to organisations of all sizes, ranging from;

We provide highly experienced practitioners who understand the physical demands, injuries and special considerations unique to each sport.

Saturday Sports Injury Clinic

In 2015 Ethos Health was engaged by Lake Macquarie Private Hospital to assist in staffing their private emergency department (ED). This brand new facility, the first of its kind in the region, offers 24/7 access to a fully equipped ED staffed by qualified emergency medicine physicians, nurses, and on Saturdays, Sports Physiotherapists from Ethos Health.

At LMPH ED on a Saturday, someone with a simple wrist fracture or severe ankle sprain is typically assessed, x-rayed, correctly managed and discharged with an appropriate follow up plan in place within 90 minutes.

We are in a fortunate position of being able to arrange a limited number of dual sponsorships each year enabling discounted access to both the LMPH ED and Ethos Health clinics, saving your players time and money and enabling rapid access to specialist medical assessment.
